Target Share, Carry Share, and Opportunity Share are aggregated from game-level play-by-play, grouped by player + team + season — a player traded mid-season is split into separate stints against each team's own totals, rather than blended into one. Carry Share is every rush attempt the team had — scrambles, kneels, and every position included — so shares always sum to 100%. The "Share by week" panel ignores the Week filter above so you can see the full trend. Air Yards only applies to Target Share and Air Yards Share — there's no such thing as air yards on a run play — so it's hidden whenever Carry Share or Opportunity Share is the active tab, both above and in the leaderboard below. The Shares Leaderboard below uses the same Week/Quarter/Down & Distance/Field Position filters, across every team rather than just the one selected above, with its own metric tab (now including Air Yards Share) and its own By Season / By Game view. Its Season filter is independent and lets you select multiple seasons at once — unlike the single-season wheel above, since the leaderboard is a sortable table rather than a share that needs to sum to 100%.
